Next Move Homeless Services and Francis House are hitting the streets to bring you our very first block party, Raising the Roof for Homelessness, an inaugural fundraiser aimed at getting the most vulnerable off the streets and back into homes.

Last year, an estimate of over 2,000 people slept in the streets of Sacramento on a nightly basis. Next Move Homeless Services and Francis House have been there to provide temporary solutions like motel vouchers or emergency shelters, but our true goal is to move people from homelessness to a permanent home.

Next Move Homeless Services is excited to host the event in our original neighborhood, with food, drinks, and unique entertainment and activities! To make sure that everyone has access to the fun, entry will be based on a “Pay-What-You-Want” model in lieu of a fixed-pricing model.
