A Cordova Lancer who made the leap to the NFL, a track star who competed in the Olympics, a three-star Air Force General and the best high school baseball team in California in 1984 will be among those inducted into the Rancho Cordova Sports Hall of Fame this October.

The 2018 inductees will be honored during the 4th Annual Induction Ceremony at Rancho Cordova City Hall. The class includes eight female athletes -- the largest group of women to be inducted in a single year.

The ceremony, hosted by Good Day Sacramento's Ken Rudulph, also includes an appetizer and cocktail reception.
