Celebrating its 15th year, the Mondavi Center Young Artists Competition (YAC) supports young artists in the early stages of their careers, providing scholarships to further their musical studies as well as valuable performance opportunities to encourage their artistic growth. A panel of internationally renowned musicians juries the competition through live auditions in cities throughout the U.S., with winners selected in multiple instrumental categories. This year the competition features the Founders’ Prize in cello to U.S. residents Ages 18–22 and the Young Artists Prize to California resident pianists and instrumentalists Ages 12–17.

The Winners Concert will take place on the same day as the Competition Finals. The competition pass includes three events over two days.
