A Place Called Sacramento film festival features 10 short films all about Sacramento. These films showcase Sacramento area writers, directors, producers, actors and crew and the amazing talents of filmmakers in the Sacramento region.

The projects are selected based on original scripts judged in three rounds of evaluation, with the winning writers getting to make their films for this world premiere.
