Fall is the perfect time to plant a tree. City of Sacramento and Sacramento Tree Foundation are partnering to provide a workshop that shows how to select and site a water-wise tree, and then how to plant, water, and care for it during the establishment period. Sacramento’s urban forest provides benefits for everyone.
Thoughtful selection and watering helps make trees drought-resilient and strong, which adds to the overall urban canopy of Sacramento.
Note: Attendees will receive free gardening gloves and trowels.
