Sacramento State’s University Union will be hosting the 11th annual Causeway Classic Blood Drive in the Ballroom.

Throughout the blood drive, administrators, faculty, students, and the general public will roll up their sleeves to compete in this annual blood donation competition. The campus as a whole competes against UC Davis, and a trophy will be awarded to the school with the most blood drive participants at the Causeway Classic football game.

Blood donation are so important to our campus and students. The same blood that is collected from students will help save the lives of accident victims, surgery patients, cancer patients, and many others who suffer from a myriad of diseases. Blood donation is safe, easy, and fun. To become a donor you must weigh 110 pounds or more, be in overall good health, be Ages 17+, or Age 16 with signed Blood Source consent form.

Donors can also give at any center or mobile blood drive October 22 to November 9, with code L029 to count towards Sac State.
