For their final event of the year, Stories on Stage Sacramento is thrilled to present two powerful stories from two award-winning short story writers - Dana Johnson and Melissa Yancy. Dana won the Flannery O'Connor award for her collection Break Any Woman Down, and her most recent collection In The Not Quite Dark was praised as "stunning...triumphant" by the Los Angeles Times. Melissa's collection Dog Years was a recent winner of the Drue Heinz Prize and won the California Book Award for First Fiction. Readers for this month are Ruby Sketchley and Lori Russo.
