Howlin' on the Parkway

Presented by American River Parkway Foundation at American River Parkway - William Pond Recreation Area

Howlin' on the Parkway will feature a two-mile walk on American River Parkway trails followed by a festival at the park with vendors, pet adoptions, raffle prizes, and a costume contest. Bradshaw Animal Shelter will have adoptable pets available with staff on hand to answer all of your adoption and fostering questions!

Plus, dress up your dog and join in the fun in the doggy costume contest! Radio show host Jason "Sugabear" Harris from 103.5's Sugabear in the Morning, Instagram-famous Ralph & George the Corgis, and Rancho Cordova Mayor Linda Budge will join as celebrity judges.

The event will benefit the Parkway Foundation's Pups in the Park Program, which provides 60,000 poop bags at 17 stations along the Parkway, and will raise awareness around the importance of picking up pet waste to prevent water pollution.
