Join the Arden-Dimick Library for 90 minutes of classic horror with a discussion of the origins of Dracula, Cthulhlu, and the stories of Edgar Allan Poe. Did you know that Bram Stoker's favorite author was Walt Whitman? That H.P. Lovecraft lived on nothing but canned beans? That Edgar Allan Poe wrote about terrifying penguins (really!) and that Lovecraft borrowed them for one of his own stories? The group will share some gossip about classic horror writers, and some insights into their work which continues to inspire so much of the horror genre today. Get your Halloween going in earnest with these early writers of terror!
Note: This discussion group is meant for adults.
