Physical fitness is a very important aspect of a being a police officer. Being physically fit is not only a significant part of the application process, but also throughout recruit training and your future policing career.

#SacPDStrong Bootcamp Wednesdays is an excellent opportunity to work out alongside Sac PD members, ask questions, and meet other people who are also interested in a law enforcement career. It gives applicants a chance to gauge their physical readiness prior to applying and gain insight on what to expect in the academy and a career with the Sacramento Police Department.
