Historic Folsom’s Ice Skating Rink, located near the district’s parking garage and amphitheater, has opened! The coolest place in town, visitors can skate every day between now and January 21, 2019, from 10 am to 9:30 pm. Skates and “skate assists”—similar to walkers—are available to rent at the rink.

But wait! The fun doesn’t stop there. The Ice Rink Party tent, which overlooks the rink, is the perfect place for birthday parties and special occasions, including corporate outings. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting takes place on Friday, November 30th from 6 pm to 9 pm, and the ice rink is hosting a New Year’s Eve party during the 8 pm session: Anyone in costume receives a free skate rental.

This year’s Ice Rink is hosted by the Folsom Historic District Association and the presenting sponsor for 2018 is Jiffy Lube.
