Aged 12-19?  Looking for work?  Want to build your finance, social, job-hunting, and other practical skills? Stop by the Arcade Library for some crash courses in being a successful adult!

Local professionals will lead the following workshops:
-10am-11am: Personal Finance (Golden 1 Credit Union)
-11:30am-12:30pm: Self-Care and Mental Health (Capital Star Community Services)
-1pm-2pm: Public Speaking/Social Interactions (Carmichael Toastmasters)
-2:30pm-3:30pm: Being an Engaged Citizen (California Center for Civic Participation)
-4pm-5pm: Jobs

Employers and organizations serving youth will be on-site from Noon-3pm. There will also be healthy cooking demonstrations from the Health Education Council during this time. Snacks will be provided. The library has a space for parents/children.
