Storytelling Workshops for Teens

Presented by Sacramento Public Library at Arcade Library

Want to learn about art and technology from professionals – for free? Attend five workshops at the branches below, plus two (optional) field trips!

Teens will learn about telling stories in today’s media-rich environments. Topics covered will include photography, writing, and more, culminating in a formal reception and website of the teens’ work.

All materials will be provided.

Class Schedule:
-March 1: Digital Storytelling Basics
-March 8: Writing a Story
-March 15: Filming a Story
-March 22: Photographing a Story
-March 29: Telling a Story Online

Field Trips (transportation to/from the Arcade branch provided; permission slip required):
-February 23: Access Sacramento
-March 30: Crocker Art Museum
