This run is a fundraiser for the non-profit Wounded Veteran Run whose mission is to recognize and honor our Veterans through community outreach and support. More than an annual run, WVR provides Christmas gifts to military families in need, interview attire to veterans entering the civilian workforce, aid to two local college Veteran centers to help students with textbooks and other supplies, and adaptive equipment to help wounded veterans.
