Licensing in the Digital Age

Licensing in the Digital Age

Presented by Crocker Art Museum at Crocker Art Museum

Have you ever wondered if you can sell someone the right to use your image, song or logo but retain the intellectual property rights? Learn how licensing and intellectual property rights can be sold, retained, and optioned. If you own intellectual property -- or if you want to use someone else’s -- this program will answer your questions. Topics include a basic review of copyright, public domain, fair use, getting permissions, copyright research, and more.

Presenter Bob Pimm is Adjunct Professor of Law and Director of Private Sector Advising at Golden Gate University School of Law. Bob has more than 30+ years experience in the book industry.
