The Not Dying Girl Premiere

The Not Dying Girl Premiere

Presented by CapRadio and PBS KVIE at Crest Theatre

KVIE and Capital Public Radio invite you to the premiere screening of The Not-Dying Girl.

The Not-Dying Girl tells the inspiring story of Lauren McCullough, a star high school athlete who was diagnosed in 2011 with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and devastating childhood cancer. Chemotherapy and radiation seemingly restored her health, but less than two years later, the cancer returned with a vengeance.

Lauren started tracking her cancer battle, thoughts, plans and adventures in a detailed blog. She worked to build awareness about the need for more research and funding for childhood cancers. And she fulfilled the top item on her “bucket list” by walking down the aisle in her dream wedding. She became, in almost every way,
"the not-dying girl."

The program co-written and co-produced by Beth Ruyak, Jim Eckes, and Suzanne Eckes-Wahl will broadcast on KVIE on Wednesday, February 6 at 7pm.

There will be complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar.
