Firefighters from many of the fire departments serving Sacramento and surrounding communities will spend their day shaking their boots and volunteering their time to collect donations at the intersection of Sunrise Blvd. and Greenback Lane to “Fill the Boots for Burns.” Firefighters will be collection donation to support the Firefighters Burn Institute and assure the best possible burn treatment and burn recovery programs are available in our communities.

The Boot Drive is open to the public and will include a Safety Fair on Saturday, February 9. This event will be held in the Sunrise Mall parking lot and will include: helicopter landings, Jaws of Life demonstrations, fire apparatus displays, clowns, booths, games, and giveaways.
