Music and Art as a Universal Language: Community Celebration

Music and Art as a Universal Language: Community Celebration

Presented by Michael Boussina Inclusion Program at KOH Library & Cultural Center

The Michael Boussina Inclusion Program, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region and The Library Of MusicLandria, is planning this event to celebrate Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month. The program theme is "We Are All Created in The Image of G-d" -- we are all one.

The program invites people of all abilities, from the entire community, to join in spreading the joy of music and art as a universal language. Each individual's unique expression helps to compete the circle of humanity as we promote inclusion and kindness. All participants are encouraged to help eliminate barriers and the stigma around our perceived differences as we explore the creative potential inherent in us all.

The goal of the event will be to make musical and artistic connections while enjoying the magical rhythms of our combined heartbeats.

There will also be Sound Healing Stations, a drum circle, activities by Music To Grow On, various art activities, an instrument petting zoo and more!
