After performing on street corners for the first several years of their existence, the group struck it big after landing a gig on the TV show Spike Lee and Co.: Do It A Cappella. They were soon signed into a contract with PBS to perform on the children's TV show Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? They are most well known for performing the title theme to that show.

The Sutter Community Garage is located in the alley at 2701 N Street. The entrance to the garage is located on 28th between Capitol Avenue and N Street. When entering the garage, attendees will insert a credit or debit card. No ticket or receipt will be printed. When leaving the garage, attendees will insert their card again and be given a receipt.
