Community Singing Circle

Community Singing Circle

Presented by The Library of MusicLandria at KOH Library & Cultural Center

Singing with friends and neighbors is an uplifting and healing experience. The Library of MusicLandria invites you to join their community singing circle, where all are encouraged to participate in musical creation!

This month's circle is graciously hosted by the Michael Boussina Inclusion Program and KOH Library and Cultural Center. Community partners from Caregiver Pathways and the California Health Collaborative will also take part for an inclusive, inter-generational singing experience.

How a singing circle works: Leaders make up simple vocal melodies, giving a different part to each section of the circle. The parts change over time. Together, it creates evolving, improvised vocal compositions.

Everyone can sing! This is a chance to exercise your vocal pipes without fear or judgement. There's no need to have a "good voice," read music, or know the words to songs. All are welcome.
