Workshop: Building and Inspiring Leadership Resilience

Workshop: Building and Inspiring Leadership Resilience

Presented by College of Continuing Education at Sacramento State at College of Continuing Education at Sacramento State

Leaders are in the unique position to develop effective responses in the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) business environment we are in today. During challenging and uncertain times your teams look to you for steadfastness, inspiration, and help in creating a path forward. A leader’s ability to model the way of harnessing resilience for themselves gives them the ability to mentor and guide their teams to resilient outcomes.

Course objectives:
-Discover what resilience means to you and what strengths you have to bring to expanding resilience
-Unveil myths on resilience, thinking patterns and attitudes that undermine your resilience
-Learn key skills in resilience building and how to cultivate it in others
-Explore strategies to grow your resilience capabilities
-Create a plan to experiment with new habits and ways of thinking that embrace resilience
