Workshop: Strategic Thinking and Planning

Participants will analyze the elements of vision and sharpen strategic thinking to more nimbly navigate the leadership challenges of balancing profit or cost-effectiveness and social responsibility in a dynamic business environment.

Course Objectives:
-Understand the key elements of a long-term strategic business plan and develop a personal or team plan.
-Recognize impactful ways to be strategic in day-to-day work and develop strategic management and prioritization skills.
-Develop a Strategic Leadership Action Plan to implement after class.

As a leadership and organizational development consultant, Monica inspires leaders to achieve the full potential of their teams through training, coaching and strategic planning. Monica has experience in management and leadership development, team and organizational development, communications, change management, strategic innovation and planning, human resources, project management, and business analysis.

Monica has a B.A. in Communications and has worked in biotech, banking, and high tech. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Monica was working with executive leadership development at Intel Corporation.
