Creativity and Reinvention: Meghan Phillips and David Sobon

Creativity and Reinvention: Meghan Phillips and David Sobon

Presented by Creatvity+ at Warehouse Artist Lofts

To kick off the start of a new year, Creativity+ Reinvention explores the various interpretations of reinvention within the creative process.

Reinvention challenges individuals to defy preconceived notions, to know something well enough to break it apart and build it back up, or to find an alternate perspective richer in curiosity, creativity, and criticism.

Meghan Phillips is the CEO and founder of Honey, a Sacramento-based marketing and design agency that provides voice, story, and identity to boutique and national brands. Nearly twenty years of strategic brand development, finding people’s passion, and a knack for creating captivating campaigns has made Meghan a trusted industry leader and a wise advisor.

David thought Sacramento could benefit from art activation and increased community engagement. This led to David founding the Sacramento Mural Festival, which was produced in conjunction with the Friends of the Arts Commission in 2016. In 2017, with an even more ambitious vision, David formed Wide Open Walls.
