The California State Library's speaker series, A Night at the State Library, features authors Steve and Susie Swatt for a special Women's History Month talk. In their book Paving the Way: Women's Struggle for Political Equality in California, the Swatts tell the stories and backstories of women pathfinders who left their marks along the elusive trail to political gender equality in California.
