The Artists' Collaborative Gallery invites you to the Second Saturday Art Walk in Old Sacramento featuring award-winning married artists – the Bortons. Master weaver Verena and photographer Ray.

This second Saturday will be unlike any other, as our master weaver will be demonstrating the art of weaving to create her hand-crafted fiber art. Verena represents the third generation in her family's weaving tradition starting in Europe and has been teaching this craft since 1959! “Combining colors, textures and patterns into one-of-a-kind articles is my favorite mode of creative expression. Using unique, often hand-dyed, fibers that tend to be in short supply ensures that I can rarely repeat a product and as a result, I never get bored.”

Her husband, Ray has been a member at our gallery since the '80s and he will be featuring his latest work in photography.
