Be thrilled this month at Stories on Stage Sacramento, where Sarah Stone will be reading from her new novel Hungry Ghost Theatre, described as "mythical, magical, and wonderfully original, this fractured family portrait artfully fuses the personal and the political, life and art, the worlds we see and those hidden from us." Appearing with Sarah: local writer and playwright Tim Foley, whose short story "Nineteen-Sixty-Five Ford Falcon" is a twisty tale about a car you should think twice about buying. Readings will be by standout Sacramento actors Katie Rubin and Matt Rives.
