Older adults engage and connect as they receive step-by-step lessons and encouragement from trained teaching artists in this three session class. For this session, participants will explore still-life paintings using acrylics and watercolors. Senior Studio is geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome.

About the Instructor:

Karen Roughton is an artist, member of The Artery in Davis, professor of art at American River College, and Crocker docent. She has a master’s from Sacramento State and has been involved in art education for more than 35 years. She is known for her supportive, easygoing teaching style.
