Mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s passing in this special workshop. During two casual evenings, participants will sample drawing techniques made famous by da Vinci and his Renaissance contemporaries.

Amara has been passionate about art and its history since childhood. She studied art history and fine art at San Francisco State University and has continued her studies in a wide variety of mediums. Amara especially loves to work in clay, oil paint and mixed media to create colorful works with a good-humored touch of charm. She approaches making and teaching art from an art historian’s perspective and believes that understanding the past is essential to creating art for the future.
