Serotonin Surge Run/Walk

Serotonin Surge Run/Walk

Presented by A Change of Pace at Natomas Oaks Park

The Serotonin Surge Run/Walk seeks to provide a venue for participants to feel good -- both by exercising and also by helping raise critical funding for area safety net medical clinics.

Participants may choose from a 5K (3.1 mile) or 10K (6.2 mile) course, which travel along shady residential neighborhoods and nearby tree-lined bike paths. Entry includes a t-shirt, commemorative finisher medal, and, best of all, the satisfaction of knowing that by running or walking, you've helped improve the lives of those who are medically underserved.

The safety net medical clinics that benefit from the event and the efforts of the Serotonin Surge Charities serve the uninsured and under-insured, and include many of the UC Davis student-run clinics in the region.
