For the May Exhibit, artspace1616 invited Suzanne Adan as the Guest Curator. Titled “Gun Show,” the exhibit explores the nature of these instruments of death, its vulgarity and perversion, but also our fascination with a masculine “power” associated with a gun. Some works are deliberately blunt, and some are defined by its complexity. Richness of different visual languages, by 35 artists featured in the show, creates a chorus of voices that need to be heard.
