The Positive Energy Kids Triathlon is a confidence-boosting, swim-bike-run event for kids Ages 3-15 with achievable distances catered to each age group.

The Positive Energy Kids Triathlon takes place at Arroyo Park in Davis. The event is held in a swim-bike-run format; the swim takes place in Arroyo Pool, children bike on adjacent bike paths and run around the park. Prior triathlon experience is not needed; life vests and kickboards are permitted during the swim portion.

All finishers receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt, post-race snow cone and pancake breakfast.

Divisions include the individual division (child completes event on their own) and the parent-child team division, where both the parent and child complete the entire event together.
