SacPride has grown from just a few thousand people in a neighborhood park to 18,000+ participants on Capitol Mall with Sacramento's picturesque Capitol as the perfect backdrop on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
This year's two-day festival will host several hundred organizations, nonprofits, corporations, and small businesses. This event intends to center the voices of the community, and show the diversity that makes Sacramento and California such a beautiful and unique space. Not only will there be dozens of local, queer singers, dancers, and comedians, but the day will also feature top-notch talent from RuPaul's Drag Race and Lizzo! SacPride is a family-friendly event and will have zones catered to families, youth, interactive art and lawn games. So don't wait, sign up to be a part of SacPride 2019 today!
Sunday will be the free Pride March -- it begins at Southside Park, heads down T Street, and north on 10th all the way to the Capitol!
