Arden Fair UnchARTed presents: Constellation

Arden Fair UnchARTed presents: Constellation

Presented by Arden Fair UnchARTed at Arden Fair

Arden Fair’s public arts program, UnchARTed, is bringing the Sacramento Youth Symphony to collaborate with Christopher Schardt of LED Labs. Together, they will create a mesmerizing and immersive art experience at Arden Fair for the community and beyond.

Sacramento Youth Symphony will perform live with Schardt’s world-renowned, Constellation, a 6-pointed LED canopy near JCPenney. Visitors will have a chance to slow down, sit back and enjoy the moment underneath the structure while gazing up at the lights as they sync to classical music provided by the Sacramento Youth Symphony.

About the Sacramento Youth Symphony:
Founded in 1956 as a 55-member youth orchestra, the Sacramento Youth Symphony, under the artistic direction of Michael Neumann, now has a membership of more than 400 talented young musicians from all over the Sacramento Valley region.

About Christopher Schardt:
Christopher Schardt has been creating large-scale sculptures since 2000. Schardt seeks to create sights and sounds that delight and surprise, while staying in concert with the surrounding environment. Many of Schardt’s pieces strive to be a place to BE. Schardt’s sculptures have been installed in various cities and festivals such as Burning Man and Life is Beautiful.
