Roger Xia, age 16, a Junior at Davis Senior High School (DSHS), is a San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) pre-college scholarship student. Winning a 2017 National Young Arts Foundation merit award, he has appeared as a soloist with orchestras since age eight; made his Carnegie Hall debuts at age ten; won top prizes including the 2015 Mondavi Young Artist Competition, and was featured on From the Top. He is the concertmaster of San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and Davis Senior High School Symphony Orchestra.
