Come see a beautiful stage play of Jane Austen's classic novel, Pride and Prejudice. Adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan, this version "dances through the novel, barely catching its breath!"

Set in Regency England, sparks fly when clever, spirited Elizabeth Bennet meets single, rich, and proud Mr. Darcy. But Mr. Darcy reluctantly finds himself falling in love with a woman beneath his class. Can each overcome their own pride and prejudice?

Hummingbird Theatre Company has partnered with the City of Rancho Cordova to bring you this free event, promoting literacy, nightlife, and community enhancement. Supported in part by the Measure H Community Enhancement Fund from the City of Rancho Cordova.

The Event takes place at the Village Green Park Amphitheater, which is a tiered outdoor venue with open space. Please bring blankets and/or chairs to sit upon. Also, perhaps plan to pack a picnic basket and/or cooler with you to enjoy a feast under the stars!

Concessions and restrooms will be available. There is disabled access, although it is suggested you reserve an easily accessible spot off the ramp.
