Blue Nile Press, in conjunction with community sponsors, present the sixth annual Sacramento Black Book Fair. This historic two-day book fair and celebration will include a panel discussion among featured authors, book signings, talks by writers, cultural and food vendors, book discussions with each writer listed in the program, children’s activities, poetry readings, art displays, and much more.
The event is dedicated to Carol Borden, a founder of the Book Fair, originator of "Books On Parade," and an indispensable Sacramento leader.

-7pm: Opening Panel Discussion at The Guild Theater
-9pm: Panel Discussion and Celebration at The Brickhouse Art Gallery
Saturday, June 1:
-10am: Books on Parade at Women's Civic Improvement Center
-10:30am-11:45am: Bill Fletcher at The Guild Theater
-11am-4:30pm: Village Market Stage Performances at Underground Books
-11am-5pm: Children's Fun and Literacy Area at The Brickhouse Art Gallery
-2pm: Writers Circle with Darryl Harvey, Pamela Hadley, and Janet Stickmon at Women's Civic Improvement Center
