Davis Music Fest is back for a ninth consecutive year as the town’s very own SXSW-style music festival. Davis Music Fest features forty acts playing a wide range of music including funk, soul, indie-rock, jazz, Latin, hip hop, roots, soul, and more.

The annual three day “no headliners” lineup encourages festival goers to explore downtown Davis on foot, grab a bite, and check out the performers at each venue over the course of the weekend. Festival goers will find memorable artists returning to town like the soulful and funky Mojo Green, Sacramento’s very rockin’ Dog Party, rising hip hop star The Philharmonik, and indie icon John Vanderslice. DMF is also excited to introduce local audiences to west coast acts new to the event including San Francisco psych rockers King Dream, the all-American harmonies of The Coffis Brothers from Santa Cruz, Portland indies Rum River Cult, and electronic dance sounds from LA with Loud Forest. Of course it wouldn’t be Davis Music Fest without local favorites like Jessica Malone, Boot Juice, Big Sticky Mess, The Big Poppies, West Nile Ramblers, and Boca do Rio.
