Come to the Brickhouse art gallery for jazz! Enjoy vocals and other madness performed by Carol Manson. There will even be some instrumentalists performing magic; they call themselves the Blue Skies Band (Russell Brown on guitar, Kerry Kashiwagi on bass, Jeff Minnieweather on percussion, and Music Director Chet Chwalik on piano and trumpet).

Bruce Kelly’s also gonna be in the house! Kelly, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, has performed with many of that city’s best jazz musicians. Since moving to Nevada City 12 years ago, Kelly has performed in various venues in Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento with West Coast jazz drummer Matt Marucci. Last year, he opened for Wynton Marsalis at the Northern California Center for the Arts.

Other talented music friends will also join. Cooking with jazz will be back with some snack surprises and there will be variety of beverages. Food truck will be present.
