Erik Knowles is the 2016 World Series of Comedy champion, taking first place in every round of the series. He is the most requested comedian among U.S. Troops, and has received many prestigious awards such as the Veterans Choice Award for Best Comedian. His act feels like a gripping one-man show with belly laughs every ten seconds. Erik believes in the healing power of laughter and puts it to the test with his Combat 2 Comedy series helping wounded warriors. He is an official Comedy Coach for the Air Force Wounded Warriors, and other military and veteran organizations. His new album, High and Tight, is climbing the charts on iTunes and is a big hit with anyone who is or knows a veteran.

After he got out of the Marine Corps in 2003, he did his first open mic at the Comedy Store in La Jolla. After that, there was no stopping him. Over the next few years he went on to perform with such headliners as Sarah Silverman, Pauly Shore, Bobby Lee, Zach Galifianakis, John Lovitz, Bobby Slayton, Gene Pompa, Joey “Coco” Diaz, Carlos Alazraqui, and many, many more. He was a finalist at the California Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas (2010), and has performed in comedy clubs and casinos, and military bases from coast to coast.
