The seventh annual Sacramento Stand-Up Competition at Sacramento Comedy Spot features 24 of the best comedians in the United States and beyond, competing for a $1,000 grand prize, $500 second-place prize, and $250 third-place prize.

The Sacramento Stand-Up Competition is one of the most exclusive stand-up competitions in the United States. Supremely focused on the participant experience, it provides contestants a fun and supportive environment, food, drinks, and, for the first time ever, a small travel stipend to help defer the cost of traveling. Only 24 comedians were invited to participate in this year’s event, reduced from previous years, which increases their chances of winning. The competition is also an opportunity for comedians to test their skills outside their home towns, to network with other comedians, and to perform in one of the best comedy cities in the US.
