The cracking Irish band Danú returns to the Mondavi Center with special guests for An Emerald Isle Christmas, celebrating the holiday, as well as Danú’s 25th anniversary, in time-honored Irish fashion. Music, song and dance are a vital part of joyous community celebrations across Ireland during the holiday season. An Emerald Isle Christmas offers a taste of these extraordinary and centuries old events.

Based in County Waterford, Danú boasts a traditional but modern sound with virtuoso players on the uilleann pipes, accordion and fiddle, and the vocals of Nell Ní Chróinínn, joined on this special occasion by colorful Irish step dancers.
