Get ready to enjoy some wonderful wizardry in action! Evangeline’s Costume Mansion invites the community to experience a fun, free, and fanciful Harry Potter Birthday Celebration.

Guests of all ages will be charmed by spirited costumed characters, spell-binding special activities, and tantalizing tasty treats. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Harry Potter characters and are invited to participate in mini “classes” similar to those found in the famous Harry Potter books. In the Charms class, guests will learn how to levitate a feather; in Divination they will learn to read a crystal ball; and in Potions, they will work to identify several creative concoctions. Once participants complete all of the “exams,” they can enjoy entertaining refreshments on the Mansion’s third floor (such as sampling pumpkin juice) or just hang out in front of the fireplace in Evangeline's common room (which is great for memorable photos and as a selfie spot).

Along the way, those who dare are encouraged to try the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans Challenge and taste questionable flavors such as booger, black pepper, dirt, earthworm, earwax, grass or even rotten egg. Also, guests are encouraged to bring a sock to help free Evangeline’s house elf who will be roaming around the store trying to be helpful (but mostly just drinking butterscotch beer).
