Help honor WEAVE Leader Beth Hassett as Access Sacramento's 7th annual "Power of Voice" award winner. The "Power of Voice" award recognizes individuals whose actions and active participation in the community have increased the opportunity for under-represented and unheard residents to have their thoughts, ideas, and opinions heard by broader audience.

Beth Hassett is a perfect choice. This award recognizes her humanitarian spirit through whom the overall community is improved but their support of Free Speech and democracy in a place where all opinions are valued.

As WEAVE's Chief Executive Officer, Beth works to build a community that does not tolerate sexual assault, domestic violence, and sex trafficking at an organization that offers victims the support they need to be safe and thrive. Under her guidance, WEAVE provides 24/7 services including safe shelter, transitional housing, crisis intervention services, safety planning, and a variety of powerful services and prevention education.

This event honors and recognizes Beth for her powerful work in our community. The Gala Fund Raising Event includes dinner and drinks, plus the awards ceremony that's taped for broadcast on Access Sacramento's cable TV channels.
