July Creative Economy Meeting

July Creative Economy Meeting

Presented by The Atrium at The Atrium

This Creative Economy Meeting is for all creatives in Sacramento that either live, create, play, or work in the city of Sacramento.

In June, the group successfully expressed the importance of "The Cultural Plan: Creative Edge" to the City Council. As a result, $2.3 million were allocated to the arts.

This July meeting will hear what Sacramento Metro Arts plans to do with the allocated funds and how to focus on acquiring an additional $6 million from the Measure U fund. The group is delighted to host Jody Ulich, Convention and Cultural Services Director for the City of Sacramento and Dennis Mangers, advisor to Mayor, Darrell Steinberg.

This is an inclusive meeting in a kind place to learn about upcoming opportunities and to safely share your voice. The goal of these meetings is to help Sacramento creatives thrive by uniting the creative community across the isolated silos.
