Patrons going on the self-guided, Davis Art Studio Tour are encouraged to visit the exhibition prior to beginning their outing. The work in the exhibition is hung sequentially corresponding to the artist studio map number. Visitors are encouraged to find work they appreciate in the exhibit, visit those studios and then visit additional studios near their selections.

There will be two Second Friday receptions, the opening reception and the pre-tour opening. Both receptions will feature demos and talks by several of the artists participating in the tour.

Opening Reception (9/13):
6pm-6:10pm: Keith von Borstel (“How to Get Ideas for Painting”)
7pm-7:30pm: Adele Shaw (demo)
7:40pm-8:10pm: Donna Lemongello (demo, “Color and Different Ways of Using a Brush for Effect”)

Pre-Tour Reception (10/11):
7:40pm-8:10pm: Joanna Kidd (artist talk and printmaking demo)
