The 8th annual It Takes Guts 5K Family Fun Run/Walk will be held on the American River at the Cottonwood Picnic Location of William B. Pond Park in Sacramento.

The run is excited to welcome Jesse and Woody from Toy Story and Spiderman to hang out on race day! There will be games and activities for the kids. Bring a picnic for after the walk.

The course begins at William B. Pond Park at the Cottonwood picnic area just west of the Harold Richey Bicycle Bridge on the paved American River Trail going west, continuing up onto the rock levy turning at Rio Americano High School as it drops you back around onto the paved trail and back to William B. Pond Park. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome!

All proceeds go towards our Warrior Workshops, held monthly to support families of children with chronic illness, and toward their annual Warrior Family Camp held at St. Dorothy's Rest in Occidental, Calif.
