"Encore!" That is what the Sacramento Fine Arts Center heard from the membership after their past jazz and poetry events. This year they are bringing back the tradition in big style.

The Sacramento Poetry Society and Sacramento State Music Department will partner for this event. Poetry will be based on art from Bold Expressions and the jazz riffs will follow the poets.

Six poets, including Mary Zeppa and former Sacramento Poet Laureate, Bob Stanley, will each choose two artworks that touch their creative spirits. They will read their original poems that evening accompanied by the jazz musicians. It is a feast of creativity and fun.
