Celebrate Heart of Travel's three year anniversary at Zócalo's gorgeous midtown space. Enjoy Latin American food, drinks, music, and a silent auction as you catch up with Chelsea, Ana, and many fellow travelers and friends!

All proceeds from the event will be split between Sacramento non-profit, Changing the Streets and Heart of Travel's volcano relief efforts in Guatemala, Fundación Fénix. Tickets include cocktails, appetizers, and our taco bar!

Changing the Streets is a Sacramento-based 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to help underserved communities through innovative programs in the spirit of the One Health initiative. They are a new organization in the process of developing programs locally and in Guatemala to provide much needed medical care and other services for people and their animals together. By providing services for both, they will be directly helping individuals, animals and strengthening the community.

On June 3rd of 2018, the Fuego Volcano erupted just outside of Antigua, Guatemala less than 15 miles away from Heart of Travel’s Guatemala office. All Heart staff members voluntarily began to crowdfund and volunteer to help in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy. Changing the Streets is happy to partner with the Heart of Travel to help their newly established Guatemalan based nonprofit organization, Fundación Fénix, to offer quality, long term assistance to those affected by the eruption, specifically women and children who were victims of the tragedy. By working together, we can accomplish much more to help the people of Guatemala.
