Ceramic artist Marianne DeBoer reprises her illustrious career that includes 35 years of Artery membership. Her first exposure to clay was in 1970 at UC Davis. She was instantly hooked. Clay felt like her natural medium.

She states, "I had such a great time creating my ceramic sculptures, making friends and selling them to collectors. I sold through many galleries in Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland and at AGCA in San Francisco and Palo Alto. My kimonos found collectors in New York, Hawaii, England and Germany. One of my pieces showed at the Crocker in 1988. It is with great sadness that I am retiring and I am very pleased that The Artery is giving me a retrospective. Please join me for my last hurrah."
