In anticipation of the upcoming Dia de los Muertos holiday and the 10th Annual Panteón de Sacramento (Sacramento's Cemetery), the Latino Center of Art and Culture will be screening the blockbuster 2017 film Coco.
In addition to the screening, the event will have Dia del los Muertos arts workshops, snacks and drinks. Coco is the first movie to have both an all-Latino cast and a nine-figure budget. It grossed more than eight hundred million dollars worldwide, won two Oscars (Best Animated Film and Best Original Song (“Remember Me”), and became the biggest blockbuster in Mexican history.
